Onramp is available on Kinto, enabling you to deposit from your debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more. Kinto's primary onramp partner is Kado - on-ramping via Kado means that you do no need to complete another KYC process. Kado support over 150 countries, however there are some countries that Kinto supports that Kado does not. To make sure that everyone has access to onramp services, if Kado does not support your country, then you will be routed to another provider that does. In these instances, you may be required to complete another KYC. The vast majority of users will onramp via Kado - the process is described below.
To onramp, select an asset and then click 'deposit'. Next select 'Credit Card/ Bank Account' from the menu and click continue.
Next, you will see an interface to input the amount you will pay in USD, the amount you will recieve in USDC, the conversion rate, the time it will take to process and the fee payable for the transaction. The wallet being funded is your passkey wallet. It is automatically populated for you and you do not need to change it.
It it is your first time, the onramp provider may ask for some additional information such as a phone number and email code for verification. You will not need to KYC again as you have KYC'd already on Kinto. For further future onramps, you will only need to reconfirm your email to input a new verification code. For your first onramp, there is sometimes a short processing time to set up.
Once you have input the email verification code, you will be able to continue with your order. If it's your first time, you will need to input your card details if you are paying by card. If you are returning, you will already see your card details stored. Click 'continue' to proceed.
You will then see a screen indicating your order has been created, please be patient while this processes.
Next you will see a screen letting you know your order is processing, please be patient while this processes.
Finally, you will see a screen letting you know your order is complete. As the funds have been sent to your passkey address, you need to click continue to complete the final step to push them to your Kinto wallet.
When you click continue, you will see your passkey wallet address on Arbitrum.
The drop down is automatically populated with ETH, please click and select USDC and you will see the amount sent from the onramper to your passkey address.
Once you have selected the USDC, please click 'deposit' to push to Kinto.
You will then see the standard bridging processing screen while this is sent.
Finally you will see confirmation that the funds have been sent to your Kinto wallet.
